Japanese Beetle Damage

The Japanese beetle has a much longer life span up to a year which is longer than many insects. This fellow can do some serious damage to a crop of grapes they are quite large for an insect an adult grows to around a half of an inch long and the width can be around the same.

Rose Chafers

The Rose Chafers are without a doubt one of the biggest beetles they again grow to around half an inch they attack just the grapes not usually the leaves, they appear in June they can survive for as long as three to four weeks.

Grape vines are not that venerable to insect damage if it is kept under control they can withstand insects in lesser magnitudes it’s when they feed on the leaves you need to pay attention to it and there are many pest control products on the market.
