Vines
Dear Friend I have set this web site up to help all you folks
out there who are interested in growing grapes to make your own
wine.
Growing grapes vines has been around
for many years and is enjoyed in many countries throughout the
world.
When you think
about growing grape vines one tends to think you need a
massive garden but that is not the case you can grow
grapes in pots in quite a small area in your garden if
you wish.
If you have a
large area to grow your grapes then it important to plan
very carefully the first thing to consider is it will be
probably be five years or so before your vines will reap
the first large crop, so it is a fairly long term
commitment but the rewards are tremendous. The vision of
tasting the first bottle of your home made wine and
sharing with your friends is priceless. Especially when
you have grown the grapes
yourself.

If you live in the United States or Canada
Vitis Rotundifolia or Muscadine are popular varieties to
select because they can produce a sweet grape, which in turn
makes a sweeter wine some research shows that these
varieties of grapes have better health
